{High-waisted Jeans}They're Back! And I'm in complete denial! I've been educated on this trend for a while now and have hesitated to feature them for months. I just can't bring myself to see the coolness in these jeans. Since the midish 90's-about the time I woke up to fashion- the low-rise jean has taken over the fashion industry and my closet. And let's be honest, it hasn't been the most practical style for some to translate from the runway to REAL world bodies~hence the intro. to the "muffin top". BUT, if you've got even the slightest of tummy tums you'll be sportin' the mom jean look in a pair of high-waisted denims. Not good either!
My Conclusion: If you don't have 5ft. long legs and a flat as a pancake belly then you're just SOL when it comes to jeans. Doesn't it feel like that most days? Jean drama~crappy!
WARNING: Rumor has it...look out low-rise denim, the high waisted jean is back and is apparently going to give you a run for your money! ~I hope not!

P.S. I REFUSE to waste a single glance on high-waisted skinny jeans! There are only about 3 people on the face of this planet who could maybe pull these off and she's (pic below) not one of them!:) However, Go fashion society if these (not necessarily the jeans but the body type) really become the way.
P.S.S. I'm especially NOT going to wear a tank like the one pic. below. Huh? FUGLY!

Have you seen Jessica Simpson in her high-waisted jeans and black tank? Her stylist should be slapped. Then fired.
I went pants shopping on Sunday and it's just hard to find the right pants! I had to wear a high waisted skirt for Michele's wedding a couple of years ago and I felt like I was being strangled from the tummy up! It was not OK!!! BTW- I LOVE your new pciture at the top of your blog!!!!! Sooooo cute! (Boy I am using a lot of exclamation marks in the comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
